African Textiles Manufacturers Ltd (ATM) is a duly incorporated business outfit engaged in the production of indigenous textile products in Nigeria. With its factories, premises and mills located in the Chalawa industrial area of Kano, the company occupies over 25 hectares of land. Having been incorporate in January 1980, the company commenced its initial production activities in January 1998. Earlier, operational activities were hitherto begun at No. 53 fagge Takudu kano, which at present houses its head office complex as the major sales outlet with modern warehousing facilities.

As a subsidiary company to ATM, the Dala Agricultural and Allied Products Ltd (DAAP) provides the major raw material inputs for ATM’s textile production activities. The Agro-Allied Company –DAAP, serves as a source of ginned cotton inputs, in the form of backward industrial integration, which facilitates ATM’s production process.

Mr. Suhail Akar,MFR is the principal pioneer and promoter of the group of companies comprising of the under-listed corporate entities:

As an astute industrialist with a vested interest in industrial development and corporate investments, he is adequately equipped with skilled knowledge and expertise in the Nigerian textile industry. Having been resident in Nigeria for over 60 years and deeply knowledgeable in the techniques and marketing of African fabrics, he remains a valuable asset to the group of companies and their production process, which is enhanced by the engagement of requisite and qualified manpower skilled in textile technologies.

Executive Director

Mrs. Ghada Suleiman, a dynamic and prudent manager of materials and human resources with a sound practical knowledge of the operational techniques of the Nigerian textile sector. Armed with enviable experience in the working modalities of the industries with a deep sense of management, she is specifically vested, inter alia, with the under listed corporate responsibilities:
